Mr. Ashok is the overall head of the financial and administrative functions. He is a Fellow member of Institute of Cost and Works Accountants and Institute of Company Secretaries of India. He has vast teaching experience in management institutes in Inida.He is the head of Educate India Program for Children at Maitri. He teaches students of Class 9 onwards Maths and English as a part of this program. |

Mr. Malik earned a Bachelor’s degree of Commerce from Delhi University. He has over thirty-five years of experience in accounting, first working for the International Marketing Services for five years and then completing thirty years at the India Tourism Development Corporation. He retired on the 31 st of January, 2012 and decided to join the Maitri team shortly after. Mr. Malik works with various aspects of account management including; preparing vouchers and cheques, managing accounts and payments for all projects, and handling bank payments and reconciliations. Mr. Malik’s favorite thing about Maitri is the positive environment and dedication to helping the underprivileged populations in India. |

Piyali is coordinating the Awaaz Do project. She brings with her a wide experience in HIV/AIDS management, health and community mobilisation. She also specializes in working with the unorganised sector. |

Anita has played a key role in establishing Project Jeevan at Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh. As she holds a B.Ed degree she also handles the teaching program of the children coming from the nearby slums. Currently, she is also working on Project Samvedana. |

Bhim has been a part of Project Sanjeevani since the time he joined. Currently, he is placed at Aashirwad, an old age home supported by Maitri. |

Anna Marie Lopes, Programme Officer
Anna has completed her foundation in B.A Mass Communication and has a strong background in event planning and community service. At Maitri, she assists with various programme tasks and is responsible for a wide range of functions, mainly creative direction in electronic and print design. She also contributes to managing Maitri’s communication platforms, donor relations and general correspondence. Her experience in the field of design and administration is a great asset to the Maitri team. |

Nandini Choudhury, Programme Officer
Nandini recently earned a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Environmental Studies from Soka University of America. While doing her studies she contributed to her university by organizing and leading various student groups and activities, and working as a research associate for one of her professors. She is a valuable addition to the Maitri team, as she will use her writing skills and passion for public health to contribute to Maitri’s grant-writing. |

Aprajita Mishra, Project Coordinator – Project Adhikar, Ranchi
Aprajita is coordinating the Project Adhikar in Ranchi, Jharkhand. The project Adhikar intends to promote the citizenship rights among excluded population particularly among rickshaw pullers in Ranchi city of Jharkhand. Aprajita is trained journalist and social activist having experience in working with excluded population. Her areas of expertise are health, HIV/AIDS, and policy advocacy. |

Smita Dasgupta, Programme Officer cum Research Investigator
Smita is associated with Project Adhikar in Ranchi, Jharkhand. She is a young professional having Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management from Xavier Institute of Social Service, Ranchi. |

Rajrani holds a Masters degree in Sociology and is a trained HIV testing technician and counselor. She is placed at the Information Counseling and Testing Centre at Cantonment Board General Hospital. She is also a part of Project Samvedana. |

Ms. Prabha is trained in cutting, embroidery and fashion designing from the National Vocational Training Institute. After retirement from ITI, Sirifort she joined Maitri as a tailoring teacher at Maitrigram. |

Resham is placed as a counselor and testing technician at the Information Counseling and Testing Centre at the Cantonment Board General Hospital. He has previously worked on Project Sanjeevani and Awaaz. |

Mr. Santosh Chaturvedi is placed at the Meera Sahbhagini Sadan Ashram, Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh for Project Jeevan. Apart from distributing mid day meal to the widow mothers he is responsible of taking care of their health concerns and ensuring the availability of social security schemes to the widow mothers. |
