Maitri’s key to success has always been through its volunteers and supporters. Many people are inspired by Maitri’s mission and are ready to make a difference; however, they are not located close to our project sites, or they feel there are other limitations that prevent them from helping. Many individuals support Maitri by spreading our message through their own means in their own ways. Some ways that you can help include:

• Holding meetings in your own neighborhood to raise awareness.
• Organizing a bake sale,  yard sale, or other small market with proceeds going to one of Maitri’s causes.
• Raising awareness of the issues that Maitri addresses through every-day conversation with friends, family, and others.
• Running a race on behalf of Maitri – Athletes can ask sponsors to make contributions according to the distance or duration of a race, the proceeds can then applied be athlete gets sponsored and the proceeds go towards one of Maitri’s projects.

There are also numerous ways to become a Maitri Ambassador.  Feel free to contact Maitri with your thoughts and help us expand our global network of Maitri representatives.

General donations will be applied toward the project of the greatest need.
